The Setting: Bir-Hakeim Bridge

Gwen and Phil gathered with several of their loved ones on the beautiful Bir-Hakeim Bridge. This bridge has absolutely gorgeous views of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine River. We’ve talked a lot about why we love photoshoots at the Bir-Hakeim bridge and it’s perfect for Parisian vow renewals! The backdrop is one of the best in the city.

Gwen arrived at the bridge in a beautiful Rolls Royce wearing a gold sparkly dress. She absolutely glowed against the view of the Eiffel Tower and river.

The Day

Natalie, the fantastic celebrant behind Paris Celebrant, led the couple through their bespoke ceremony. Gwen and Phil exchanged vows that celebrated their journey as a couple and their hopes for a future full of the love that they already share.

When it came time to exchange rings, Natalie held their rings for them on a miniature Eiffel Tower. This detail is probably the cutest thing at Parisian vow renewal that we have ever seen. Instead of a ring, Gwen gave Phil a new earring that she lovingly place in his ear. After, Phil gave Gwen a beautiful new ring to wear with her other jewelry. They definitely know how to honor their love in a way that makes sense for the two of them. It couldn’t have been more a more perfect ceremony or celebration of their love.

You can’t have a wedding or Parisian vow renewal without photos, so after exchanging vows, Gwen, Phil and their loved ones had a mini portrait session, right there on the bridge.

As the ceremony concluded, Gwen and Phil got into the Rolls Royce for a private moment before they went on to the next part of their celebration. What better ending to a post Parisian vow renewal celebration than with a luxurious lunch? That is exactly how Gwen and Phil decided to end their afternoon. Their Rolls Royce took them to La Giraffe, a premier restaurant known for its exquisite French cuisine and stunning views of the Eiffel Tower.
